2:4 thats because together there are 6 marbles in total. 3 red and 1 blue = 4. and 2 yellow. 4:2, however, 4:2 is 4/2 in fraction, so that wont make sense. hat means the answer is 2:4 or 2/4.

It must have the same slope as the given line, so

m = -A/B = -1/-2 = 1/2

So far, we have

y = mx + b = x/2 + b

Use the given point to find b.

4 = -2/2 + b = -1 + b

b = 5

y = x/2 + 5

Multiply through by 2.

2y = x + 10
