144 units²
Step-by-step explanation:
You first want to multiply everything to get the area's. The big rectagle is 55 units because you multiply 5 by 11 to get 55. The median rectangle is 44 units because you know that the height is 11 anf width is 4. The small rectangle is 33 units because you again multiply 11 by 3. The two small triangles are 3 by 4 and you can find this in two ways.
Way 1: You do the normal triangle formula,
and do this for both sides.
Way 2: I guess you can say that it is a bit more advanced but all you do is multiply 3 by 4 to get 12 and instead of dividing by 2 you just leave it as is because you know that there are two triangles.
Now you have to add up all of the shape units:
55+44+33+12= 144
And that is your answer 144 units.

Here's why:
1/3 simplified = .3333
50% also equals 1/2 which simplified = 0.5
30% also equals 0.3
1/4 simplified = .25
0.50 > 0.30 > .333 > .25
