Part A: 2 triangles and 1 rectangle.
Part B: The length, in units, of side AB, is 4 and side AE is 5.
Part C: The area of figure ABCDE is 31 units.
To find the rectangle multiply L x H which is 4 x 5 = 20
Then for triangle 1 multiply L x H x 0.5 which is 3 x 5 x 0.5 = 7.5
Finally, for triangle 2 multiply L x H x 0.5 which is 7 x 1 x 0.5 = 3.5
Then you add all the shapes together to find the area of the figure ABCDE.
