Just read this over to see if this sounds good.. Give me some insight if I need to change anything. Honest opinions please People of the past and present judge each other by their class. This could relate to how much wealth they have as well as their social class or economic status. These judgments separate us as a society, and we live our lives around these judgments. Class, in simple words, is a group of people or things categorized by the quality and economic status. This relates to the novel The Great Gatsby by some of the characters in the novel, such as Tom and Daisy Buchanan who are sardonic and in love with material luxury.

Daisy Buchanan is a beautiful, charming woman from Louisville, Kentucky. For a while, she was with Gatsby before he went to war but later married Tom Buchanan because he had a promised wealthy life that he could provide her. In the novel, during the reunion at Daisy's house in the east egg, "'You make me feel uncivilized, Daisy,' I confessed on my second glass of corky but rather impressive claret. 'Can't you talk about crops or something?'" Nick's statement shows the wealthy class of the east egg and how Daisy flaunts her wealth to everybody instead of enjoying the people around her.
