Example: here $Log_{4}(8) =\frac{3}{2}$ so to make sure: try $4^{\frac{3}{2} }=8$

so $Log_{4}(x) +\frac{3}{2}= 2$ subtract $\frac{3}{2}$ from both sides

$Log_{4}(x)}= \frac{1}{2}$

Now lets say $4^{\frac{1}{2} }=2$

So that means that we already got the power and the number 4

(note: $Log_{4}(8)=\frac{3}{2}$ is the same as $4^{\frac{3}{2} }=8$ )
