SUMMARY ON THE ADVANTAGES;
1. It produces maximum power constantly.
2. It's a renewable energy source.
3. It's a clean energy source,has zero harmful emissions.
4. It has low cost of operation and low risk of price fluctuation hence a great source for constant income.
5. There's no delay in production, it constantly operates and lasts longer than many fossil fuels are expected to last.
6. It has no harmful byproducts like fossil fuels.
7. It's relatively available, cost-wise in most countries.
8. It's a constant power supply with no fail in energy production.
9. It releases very high amounts of energy compared to fossil fuels due to nuclear fission.
Advantages of nuclear energy;
i) Has high and efficient energy production.
ii) It's a reliable source of energy.
iii) It's an environmental friendly energy.
iv) Its cost of operation is relatively low.
v) It's a renewable energy.
vi) It has no harmful byproducts.
vii) It has maximum power capacity.
viii) It requires less fuel to produce it.
ix) It produces less waste.
Disadvantages of nuclear energy;
i) It is very expensive to build a nuclear power plant.
ii) It is very expensive to contain the waste produced and keep it safe from people.
iii) It produces radioactive waste which can be very harmful when exposed to people in high quantities.
iv) It has very hazardous accidents that when they happen they kill a lot of people continuously.
v) The mining and processing of the energy is unsafe since people are exposed to high amounts of radiation as well as the environment gets contaminated.
vi) This energy is highly dangerous in malicious hands since can be turned to nuclear weapons.
vii) It's limited in sources since only few elements can produce energy via fission, it's impossible to see a constant supply of nuclear energy.
