Two sides of a rectangular fence are 5 5/8 feet long. the other two sides are 6 1/4 feet long. what is the perimeter?

If two sides are 5 5/8 and the other two sides are 6 1/4 if we're looking for perimeter we have all of our data and just need to add.

6 1/4 (6 2/8) + 5 5/8 = 11 7/8 <--

Jan is twice as old as Ben.

If you add together the ages of Will, Ben, and Jan the total comes to 41 years 

1. W+3= ben age (W+3)*2= Jan age for all three: w+(w+3)+(w+3)2
