Sum of the angles in a straight line = 180°

In line AD,

m∠AGF + m∠FGE + m∠DGE = 180°

⇒ 47° + 90° + m∠DGE = 180°

⇒ 137° + m∠DGE = 180°

⇒ m∠DGE = 180° – 137°
