What it is the answer to this and how do i do it

(1,0) and (3, 3)

(3-0)/(3-1)= 3/2

y - 0 = 3/2( x - 1)

y = (3/2)x - 3/2

You calculate the slope by subtracting two adjacent y values, but watch out, the x increase is 2 in this case! 

E.g., from x=3 to 5, the y increases from 49 to 65. That's a difference of 16, so per minute that is only 8. So 8 is our slope.

Because the formula uses the y value (of 65) at x=5, you want the right hand side to be 0 at x=5.

So the equation must be y - 65 = 8 (x-5)
