Well to solve this all you have to do is:

Multiply 45 times 32

45 * 32 = 1,440

To get 1,440 tons

Then you take 37 and multiply it by three

37 * 3 = 111

Then just add 1,440 and 111 together
to get 1, 551 and that's it!

1,551 tons of trash were dropped off to the dump.
