While we are interacting with people, our verbal language is important, but our body language is important too. We can give messages through our body language and how we interact with people.

Body language is as important as verbal language and it can help us to connect with the people we are talking to. Body language includes posture, gestures and movements and it influences on how you are perceived by other people.

Sam is actually listen to the discussion and can recall details about it, he even asks some questions and give some ideas but the fact that he is constantly checking his phone and staring out the window gives the impression that he is not really engaged in the discussion and therefore this is the aspect of speaking and listening skills that he could improve (body language)
