The correct answer here would be: The Indian Ocean, the Red Sea and the Nile River.
Explanation:
The Kingdom of Aksum, whose capital was named Axum, was an ancient empire that existed in what is today modern Ethiopia and Eritrea, from around the 4th century BC, until around 940 A.D. The importance of Aksum came mostly from its strategic position geographically, as it had access and control over the main trading routes that existed between the Roman Empire and India. As such, any trader who wanted to move any goods from one side to another, needed to cross the Arabian Peninsula and forcefully, needed to cross through Aksum. Aksum, as said before, had access to three major route systems: the Red Sea, which became important to the Romans when they changed the trading routes and systems of sailing, the Nile River, which was always vital in trading, as it was the main river in Africa and it connected to the rich Egyptian Empire, and the Indian Ocean, which was the major connection, aside from land, between Africa and India. This is why the correct answer is the second option.
