A dynamic character is one that changes throughout the course of the book. A static character stays the same throughout the story. Rape and transactional sex take place. it takes place because most rapest have been raped when they were younger by someone so when they feel that pain they want to inflect the pain on someone else. they want people to feel the same way they did.
