Jimmy Giuffre or James Peter Giuffre was an arranger, composer, saxophonist, and clarinetist born on 26th April 1921. He is remembered for his works in jazz as he developed many forms of jazz.
He played an important role in the movement of cool jazz and West Coast Jazz and also wrote 'Four Brothers' as an arranger for Woody Herman's Big Band in 1947. "That's the way it is" is composed by Jimmy and was added into the debut album of Jimmy in 1957.
