ASAP What is one reason the membrane proteins could not go where the Davson-Danielli model thought they should go, sandwiching the lipid membrane on either side? A. They were correct, the proteins do go there. B. Proteins are hydrophobic, so they shouldn’t be in an aqueous environment. C. There was not enough protein to cover both sides of the membrane. D.
