Chromosomes vs. Chromatids - Hi, I’m getting really confused- what is the difference between chromosomes and chromatids? Are chromosomes always arranged in pairs- if so then when they undergo mitosis why do they only then seem to go into pairs to split

since the hypotenuse of a right triangle is always greater than one of it's sides, if you take the two shortest side lengths given and square the first length and add it to the square of the second length, the result should be the last side squared. so if you take the square root, and it is the third side length that you were given, then it is a right triangle.

example:

given side lengths 6,8, and 10, is the triangle a right triangle?

so 6 and 8 are smaller than 10

6^2= 36 and 8^2=64

36+64=100

the last side length that we were given was 10, so the values are the same and therefore the triangle is a right triangle.
