People make different sacrifices all the time. One may sacrifice their time to help their friend, a mother may sacrifice her life to save her child. A sacrifce is whenever somebody lays down something to help another. We see people make sacrifices on T.V. and in books all the time. We always know that the character will do the right thing in the end, often by laying down his/her life. Unfortunatly this doesn't happen in real life. A rich man may walk down the street with a loaf of bread and find a young person begging for food. Many times the child will still go to bed hungry while the man will eat his fill.
There is a great value in sacrifices. They help people to humble down and help others. The smallest act can sometimes have the biggest difference in a persons life. By giving up your time and money, you show that you truly care for people.
You know to make a sacrifice when you find something that makes you feel an emotion. When you are moved by something you act on it. If you feel sorry for children with cancer, you could sacrifice some of your money for St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
In conclusion, sacrifices are an important part of life that make us human. They are what we do when we are strongly moved by an emotion, and how we respond to it. Without sacrifices, the world would be a cold and lonely place. Sacrifices are most often acted upon because of love. Since they are closely tied, you cannot have one without the other. Always make sacrifices, and care for other people.
