Hi
1: Sea food:
Phytoplanktons exist at the base or foundation of our food web in seas and oceans. In the water, these small organisms feed almost all kinds of organisms such as animal-like zooplankton, microscopic organisms to huge whales. Small invertebrates and fish also feed on phytoplanktons. So, whatever sea food human eat, we owe their production to phytoplankton in some way.
2:Carbon Cycle and climate:
It is believed by the scientists that phytoplanktons consume almost same level of carbon di oxide that is consumed by all land plants and forests of the earth. It is beleived that they create almost 90 percent of all the oxygen of earth this way. Therefore, they have an important role in maintaining the climate and carbon of water as well as land.
3:Health benefits:
Studies have found that phytoplanktons are a great source of many health promoting chemicals such as carotenoids, omega 3 fatty acids, nucleic acids, amino acids, Vitamin B, Vitamin A and minerals like Iodine, copper, magnesium and zinc. These have proven affects on human health by promoting healthy Glucose Levels, maintaining vision, mental clarity and many other such effects.
4: Detoxification of body:
Usage of sea food of phytoplankton in particular imparts huge benefits for human liver. They not only help in repairment of liver but can also improve the liver functions and improve the detoxification pathways for different harmful pathways in human body.
5: Super food of future
Due to all these health promoting benefits and nutrients of marine phytoplankton, they offer huge potential to overcome the food crisis and become super food for humans. They not only can help to produe a sustainable food source for men but also a healthy food source that have long lasting health benefits.
Hope it help!
