On an island habitat, there lives a species of bird, called Species A. The carrying capacity of the island allows 1000 of Species A. After their habitat was destroyed, a second species of birds, Species B, arrives on the island. Their original habitat had a carrying capacity of 500 Species B birds. After a few years, the population of Species A has dropped to 700, and the population of Species B has become 300. What can you determine from this data? A. They occupy the same niche and are competing fully for all resources. B. They occupy completely different niches and are not competing. C. They occupy separate niches but are still competing for some resources. D. You cannot determine anything from this data.

3) Lysosomal enzyme, 5) Insulin and 6) ER transmembrane protein are all synthesized by bound ribosomes.
Explanation:
Proteins may be synthesized in the cytosol by free and unbound ribosomes for work in the nucleus like DNA polymerase; or to function in the cell's cytosol, like actin.
However, bound ribosomes synthesize proteins for the Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER). They contain a small initial signaling sequence, which facilitates the attachment of these proteins to the membrane of the ER and their passage into the ER lumen.
Additionally, they carry out the synthesis of Endomembrane system-bound lysosomal enzymes, responsible for packaging and exporting compounds, along with, the protein chain hormone insulin, which is destined to leave the cell.
