Homogeneity : Salt water is homogeneous but chalk powder doesn't dissolve in water hence heterogeneous.
Filtration : We can separate chalk powder from water using filter paper and a funnel but whereas we can't separate salt from water using them we have to using crystallisation.
Stability : Salt is evenly spread through water we cannot see or feel it,hence it stable.Whereas chalk is not evenly spread and can be seen through naked eye,can be felt in hand and filters in a funnel and filter paper,therefore it is unstable.
