Practice photographing different animals. You can choose your pets, zoo animals, or wild animals nearby. (Remember to stay safe and use caution when photographing animals!) Use the tips in this unit and those that you’ve learned in previous units to help you. Submit one of your best photographs for each of the following: An animal photograph showing the use of the rule of thirds An animal photograph that shows texture A close-up, macro photograph of an animal An animal photograph that shows a unique perspective An animal photograph that shows context about where the animal lives An animal photograph that you could improve; a “before” photograph The same animal photograph as above, but the “after” version that you’ve improved. Insert your photographs into a word processing file such as Microsoft Word. Label each photograph so we know which photo is for which part of the assignment. For example, label one photograph “rule of thirds”, another “texture”, etc.
