Following are the factors that affect the rate of photosynthesis:
i) Light Intensity
ii) Carbon dioxide concentration
iii) Temperature
Explanation:
i) As light intensity increases, the rate of Photosynthetic gradually increases. Chlorophyll absorb light intensity at certain limit. If light intensity increases up to the limit, rate of photosynthesis decreases.
ii) Same is the case with CO2, rate of photosynthesis increases up to the certain limit.
iii) Photosynthetic reactions increases when temperature is 40 degree Celsius. Above this temperature, process slows down.
