The kind of erosion that involves dissolved particles is CALLED CHEMICAL EROSION.
Erosion refers to the action of surface processes which removes soils, rocks or dissolved materials from one point on the earth surface and transport it to another site.
Chemical erosion is the process by which a rock or other geological features are broken down as result of chemical process. Chemical erosion is also known as chemical weathering. The process of chemical erosion is brought about by water which react with mineral grains in rocks and soils to form new mineral grains and soluble salts. This is especially true for acidic water. Examples of chemical erosion are carbonation, hydrolysis, hydration and oxidation.
