What vessel serves as the source of the spleens blood supply from the aorta

Blood supply to the spleen. The spleen's blood is supplied by the splenic artery. This artery is one of the three large arteries that branch from the celiac trunk ( also called the celiac artery ).
The celiac trunk is the first major branch coming from the abdominal aorta.
