I am trying to make my own rusty spoons I have researched how to make the rust Rust is the result of corroding steel after the iron (Fe) particles have been exposed to oxygen and moisture (e.g., humidity, vapor, immersion). ... Oxygen causes these electrons to rise up and form hydroxyl ions (OH). The hydroxyl ions react with the FE⁺⁺ to form hydrous iron oxide (FeOH), better known as rust. but I can't seem to get the spoons to turn quick enough do you have any notes on the subject to help me with my rusty spoon endeavors?
