we need to protect our land from being treated as something that only we have a right to use and perhaps misuse. it seems like we've been thinking only about our needs and our wants; but not about the future generations that will live off the same land that we use so unwisely.
this is why i feel that creating community composting sites is an excellent idea with innumerable benefits. firstly, it reduces the amount of trash in a landfill. it also adds nutrients to the soil and the soil retain moisture.
