As teens, we are still desperately searching for our identities. This makes it extremely difficult for us to differentiate between who we are and who we aren’t, because we are still in the process of finding the things we love and hate. As a teenager, you are too young to be independent, but also too old to rely on others, making it a difficult phase in life to manage. Many teens are still reaching for this independence, and searching for who they are, so that they can grow to learn self respect. You must experience things to be honest about who you are, and teenagers still need more life experience to have strong opinions in their hearts.
