from the story "The prisoner who wore glasses" how does Brille act as a father to the men in span one

Brille acts as a father to the men in span one because Brille used his experience in politics to manipulate Hannietiji. He acts as a father because when he catches Hannijie stealing fertilizer he is able to use it over his head. Hannijie used to treat Brille very badly and when Brille used to act out he cause the men in span one to miss out on some meals he would  then tell them that he would steal food for them. He manipulated Hannijie by telling him that if he does not treat Span one with more respect he will report him.
