HELP PLEASE ASAP!! Why does the student writer use the phrase "While it is true that teenagers love to text one another” in paragraph 2?

While it is true that teenagers love to text one another, this is not the only thing we do on our phones. We also do on-the-spot research. Whenever we want to know something, such as the weather, we discover the answer by using our phones. We could easily do this in school as well. For example, if a health teacher asked the class about elements on the food pyramid, a student could search for the answer if allowed to use a smartphone. We could also investigate topics we don't know, use our phones as calculators, and take photographs to use in class presentations .
