Life is full of choices, but with careful consideration, the outcome can be predicted; free will oftentimes overpowers fate.
Explanation:
One of the most recurring themes in William Shakespeare's tragedy "Julius Caesar" is the theme of fate versus free will. This theme can be found not only in the character of Brutus, but even in most of the other characters like Caesar and Cassius too.
With the death of Julius Caesar, this time became an important factor for the whole plot. If it was left to free will, Caesar would have never chosen to be killed, that to by his very close friend and confidante Brutus. But it was fate that had overtaken the life of Caesar. But, all said and done, free will on the side of Brutus and Cassius had led them to kill their king. This conflict between fate and free will is also the very essence of what humanity is. It shows that life may be full of choices, which renders the individual with unlimited yet limited choices. but with the careful consideration, one can predict what the outcome might be. This is the essence of what fate entails, which is often overpowered by free will.
