Absolutely. Transcendentalists believed in the power of nature. Emerson and Thoreau were two major Transcendentalists who loved nature and held it in high esteem. Emerson saw nature as a means by which we can understand not only the physical world, but also the spiritual one. To him, nature was a form of the divine. Therefore, Transcendentalists would absolutely support environmental rights, or anything that aims to protect the environment.
