Interpret the meaning of the simile, “they [books on investments and securities] stood like new money from the mint.”

The book is about collecting money which is legal but what I can say is that they have not been touched and they are in mint condition. The simile symbolizes new wealth or money in a way that they are in mint condition. As a whole, it highlights the central theme of being social stratification.

Well, seems like you should have posted this question in the section Biology, as according to the task I see the taxonomy's issues. As you should know, it is the science of classifying  and naming organisms, and what about similarity between name and address that includes city and state is that it is unique and there is no other exactly like it.
