Life's events challenge the way we view our future because we see what is happening and expect the outcome to end up horribly. All we see in today's society is what the media presents to us and that is that America is racist and if we don't do anything then our future will continue to be filled with racism and discrimination.
We can incorporate our own views of life into the way we choose to live by identifying what our morals are and then from there, use those morals to help dictate what we do and how we decide to function in society.
In order to interact with others to perceive the world differently we need to do so with an open mind and heart. Hatred toward somone or an idea acts as a blinder, causing us to not fully listen wholeheartdely and ultimately dismissing their life experiences and ideas.
