More than anything else, my brother calvin wanted to be a great runner. every morning he got up long before the rest of my family did and ran 4 - 6 miles. somedays he would run up to 10 miles or more. my mother marveled at his increased appetite, and my father praised his dedication. as for me, i was actually just jealous of him--jealous of both his ability and the attention he got from my parents.
