Read the Craft and Structure notes, then read the poems in Collection 3. Following the directions listed on page 401 under "Writing to Sources" I want you to write a narrative and a lyric poem about an admirable person. Yes, I want both a narrative and a lyric poem about the same person. Do not forget to include the paragraph comparing your topic and style to one of the poems in the collection -- you can choose to examine either your narrative or lyric poem for this portion, but you do not have to do both.
