The poems were both formal because in the poems they are just trying to state how one can love someone so much and the other is just stating how glorious god can be. The word choices they used that were in the poem were making you feel what they felt when they wrote this poem. They wanted to draw you in and make you see something in their perspective of life. One thing I learned about the authors was that they have their own beliefs but that does not let them affect the way they make choices in life. I think the poem that sounds like normal speech was sonnet 43 because was describing how much she loves someone but instead of using riddles she spoke in old English language.
