Character: Cinderella, wicked Mother , wicked sisters, The fairy godmother,
The prince
Setting: The story takes place a long time ago in a land ruled by a king and a queen
Plot: Cinderella, the beautiful and kind-hearted daughter, sees her world turn upside down when her beloved mother dies, and her pained father remarries another woman, the wicked Lady Tremaine, who has two equally cruel daughters, the jealous Anastasia and Drizella. But, once more, things will go from bad to worse, When Cinderella's father, too, dies, leaving her all alone in the Lady's clutches to serve as her maid-of-all-work. Under those circumstances, a shabby and neglected Cinderella doesn't stand much of a chance of attending the King's royal ball--let alone, captivate the handsome Prince--unless she turns to her loving Fairy Godmother who has quite a few tricks up her sleeve. Cinderella enchants the handsome Prince Charming at the ball, but must face the wrath of her enraged stepmother and sisters when the spell wears off at midnight.
Conflict: Cinderella wants to go to the ball, but her stepmother prevents her from going by giving her more chores than she can complete, so her fairy godmother helps her. The conflict is external, Cinderella versus her stepmother, so it is Man vs Man. There once was a widower who remarried.
Resolution: Prince Charming took Cinderella by the hand and made her his bride. Cinderella and Prince Charming lived happily ever after.
Point of View: Cinderella is told through the third-person omniscient point of view.
Theme: Cinderella teaches the morals of kindness towards all, forgiving others for doing wrong, and never letting bad things ruin your heart. The themes of the story are good versus evil and luck changing your life.
