Why can love at first sight be seen as foolish? You might express feelings that are not returned. You don't know the person you fall in love with. You might be misled by the person you love. You are viewed as not knowing what true love is.

Love at first sight is the term coined to show a situation whereby an individual developed a feeling for another individual at the first moment the came in eye contact. Though, this has worked for a few, but gwenerally,there is greater chances of it failing than succeeding.

It could be seen as foolishness as a result of the fact that, it does not afford someone the opportunity to know if the individual in question meet the other personality requirement. Example, being respectful, empathic and assisting during difficult situation.
