the pattern used in writing can infer many ideas, depending on how it's done. long sentences with convoluted wording might mean that a character is lost in thoughts, for example. while sort sequential sentences might give the impression of a hurry, something happening quickly or many things happening abruptly. parallel construction is also important to both show organization and compare things. it is also used to give the same importance to different elements.
