Diction
Explanation:
Diction is a writer's choice and arrangement of words that determine the writer's style of writing and effectiveness. Diction is important to get any message across, as the diction of the message tells a lot about the message itself, and the author.
In overall, there are two types of diction: formal and informal, and a writer may decide to chose one or the other in their own particular way. Sometimes we can even recognize that a work is from a particular author by just paying attention to their style of writing, this is why some believe that each author has their own "diction".
