Althualpa who was also known as Atawallpa was the last ruler of the Inca empire was number 13th in the order of the rulers and the other name of this empire was Tahuantinsuyo. He ruled this empire from c. 1502 to 1533.
He came to power after he defeated his younger half brother whose name was Huascar. This war was a civil war and the father of both these brothers whose name was Huayna Capac died after this civil war due to an infectious disease which was either malaria or small pox.
