Northwest Passage
Explanation:
The "Northwest Passage" was a theoretical northern water route around North America to reach the Orient.
The sea route is between Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and through to the Arctic Ocean. It is along the northern coast of North America. There was a search for a possible trade route to Asia by European explorers for centuries. Then Robert McClure, an Irish explorer discovered an ice-bound northern route in 1850. The first complete passage was made in 1903-1906 by Roald Amundsen.
The Northwest Passage is separates various islands of archipelago that are separated from each other and from Canadian mainland.
