Explanation:
Many poor people from Europe arrived in the New World (America) forced to avoid the different difficult situations that some European countries were crossing at the time. These migrants, first of all, sought to improve their living conditions and knead their fortunes in the Americas, and then enjoy them in their countries of origin. These people made their journey through large vessels and because of their economic conditions, they did it illegally so they were exposed to many risks within these means of transport. However, their desire to change to a better life made the situation bearable.
