How were royal colonies from coporate colonies ?

Corporate colonies were funded by joint stocks and allowed investors to have a vote on the way to run a colony. Corporate colonies had a charter granted by the English monarch to stockholders. 

In 1624, the English monarch began to shift the colonies into royal colonies. Such colonies were under the direct control of the monarch. Royal colonies were under the direct order of the king. He appointed the governors. 

They wanted to punish Germany for World War I and have them pay war reparations.

At first the Allied Powers did not support President Wilson and his 14 Point plan because they believed that Germany should be heavily punished for initiating World War 1 and they wanted them to pay reparations.

This was especially true for France which had seen the majority of fighting on the western front. They wanted Germany to pay them so that they would be able to fix the damage at least somewhat.
