I am answering from the perspective of my beliefs. There is nothing such as "karma" even though it does seem that people reap what they sow. This is not because of a random occasion. Instead, it is because of sin. In the Bible, Matthew 7:12 says " So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you..." When you are good to others, God blesses you. However, when you do bad, you remove yourself from God's blessings and you make yourself vulnerable to evil things from Satan (God never causes bad things to happen).
In conclusion, karma is not random or a law of earth. It is more of a spiritual matter. I hope this helps!
