King Tutankhamun or commonly known as King Tut was an Egyptian pharaoh of the 18th dynasty. In the Valley of the Kings his tomb was discovered by Howard Carter and George Herbert in 1922 almost completely intact. The body of King Tut also has three nesting coffins. The Outermost coffin which is wrapped in linen, the middle coffin which is made out of gilded wood, and the innermost coffin which is purely made of gold.
