the right to vote. After these laws though all African-Americans got the right
to vote, even in the South.
b) Before Jim Crow laws were passed, African-Americans could legally go into a
white restaurant, but after Jim Crow laws were passed it was not legal for
them to do so.
c) Segregation and laws like it passed the change because of all Americans being
separate from each other. Conditions like this led to the Brown v. Board of
Education decision.
d) Jim Crow laws changed segregation in a big way because in the late 19th
century people were prejudiced and didn't like you because of the color of
your skin.
