Global warming resulting from greenhouse gases is a serious issue that demands immediate action. Throughout the world, we can already see the significant effects of global warming on people and natural habitats.

What would make the best counterargument and rebuttal?

A) You may not think global warming is a serious issue, but you will when it directly affects your life.

B) A few scientists prefer to study global warming using computer models, but there is no substitute for hands-on field work.

C) Some people say that global warming is the result of natural cycles, but hundreds of scientific studies have linked global warming to human activity.

D) I have met people who do not believe in global warming, but they obviously do not pay attention to how the weather has changed over the past ten years.

Andrew Jackson was born and raised in poverty. The presidents before him came from the cultural and economic elite. He was (possibly as a result of his upbringing) focused on the plight of the common man, focusing on worker's rights issues unlike the presidents which came before.
