Short answer question:
Nuclear proliferation is the spread of nuclear weapons, nuclear weapons technology or fissile
material to countries that do not yet possess them. The term is also used to refer to the possible
acquisition of nuclear weapons by terrorist organizations or other armed groups. Currently, nine
countries have nuclear weapons: the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, France,
China, India, Pakistan, Israel, and North Korea.
Using FORMAL LANGUAGE, answer the following questions within a paragraph:
1. If you were President of the United States, what would you do about the proliferation of
nuclear weapons?
2. Do you think there could ever be a successful agreement among all nations to get rid of
