There are two main kinds of roots. How is a taproot different than a fibrous root?(2 points) A fibrous root grows deep into the ground, and a taproot is close to the surface. A fibrous root has the same size roots, and a taproot has branches. A taproot has one main root, and a fibrous root has many small roots. A taproot has many small roots, and fibrous roots grow above ground.

A fibrous root has a dense network of roots that are closer to the surface. An example of a tap root system is a carrot. Grasses like wheat, rice, and corn are some fibrous root systems.  The answer is  A taproot has one main root, and a fibrous root has many small roots.

Opportunity cost means "the loss of potential gain from other alternatives when one alternative is chosen". 

For example, if one company gives you gold but not diamonds, and another gives you diamonds, but not gold, and you choose the diamonds company, then you will miss out on the gold
